I don’t want to download even one more app. There are too many apps to open, too many passwords to remember and type in, too many distractions, and simple tasks have somehow become more complicated — like finding my “notes to self” or remembering where I left off in that really important chat.
And I dont think it’s just me.
Culturally, we’ve been trending away from wanting every app for everything we do for a while now. Whether for personal or professional use, we want our digital environments to be cleaner, easier to navigate, and to do what these tools were always meant to do: work for us, not make more work for us. Or as GTM Partners said in their breakdown of G2’s 2024 Buyer Behavior Report: “GTM technology is better together.”
That’s why we’ve built out a full suite of integrations for Bigtincan that brings the benefits of revenue enablement to environments where enterprise go-to-market teams are already working.
Below are six different ways you can build an integrated workspace with Bigtincan to reduce app fatigue among your revenue teams and help them stay on task.
1. Embed enablement in your enterprise Microsoft ecosystem
America might run on Dunkin but large enterprises run on Microsoft. It’s called Microsoft Office for a reason.
Because Bigtincan integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and now Copilot, enterprises can embed revenue enablement capabilities throughout their employees’ entire workflow.
From creating training content to searching and sharing sales content all the way to collaborating with colleagues and customers on important projects, GTM professionals can execute the majority of their tasklist right where they work without switching context or tools.
How Bigtincan and Microsoft 365 connect
- Access your SharePoint document repository via Bigtincan Content (more on this later) to better organize files and activate advanced, AI-driven search features that make content easier to find, track, and share
- Upload pre-existing PowerPoint decks and use them as the basis for Bigtincan Readiness content in form of interactive Brainshark presentations, making quick work of updating any slide notes, captions, voiceover, and translations with AuthoringAI.
- Search, view, and share opportunity-specific sales and learning content stored within Bigtincan right from Microsoft Outlook.
- Email activity within Outlook can also be logged against Salesforce contacts, leads, accounts, and opportunities via a connection through Bigtincan Engagement.
- Search, share, and collaborate on Bigtincan content in Microsoft Teams and Copilot (see next section).
2. Turn chat platforms into productivity and collaboration hubs
Teams and Copilot
This is really an expansion of #1 but deserves its own section because these days, if you’re working in a Microsoft ecosystem, you’re working in Teams. Microsoft customers use Teams as a one-stop-shop for all of their internal and external chatting, web meetings, and collaboration — but that’s only part of the work. So how do we consolidate it all together? That's where Copilot and GenieAI come in.
The Copilot + Bigtincan GenieAI integration is foundational for how teams actually work these days and how they’ll work going forward.
Bigtincan’s GenieAI platform integrates with Microsoft’s Copilot, allowing users to search and access content through Copilot. This AI-powered integration simplifies content retrieval and email writing, making it easier for sales teams to find and/or share the information they need quickly.
See it in action:
How they connect
- Integrate advanced content search and sharing capabilities directly into Teams and Copilot, improving collaboration and efficiency where your people work.
- Take advantage of SearchAI, Bigtincan’s GenieAI technology, which revolutionizes how you find and share content, answer questions faster, and enhances your sales engagement experience.
- With the combination of Bigtincan and Copilot a sales professional can use a natural language interface to find and share relevant content with customers and be notified of user analytics.
- Access Bigtincan content directly from Teams during meetings.
- Prep for meetings right where you chat and share assets.
- Ask Copilot to help you access content and write emails, scripts, or other drafts based on your organization’s collective knowledge stored in Bigtincan Content.
Our CEO David Keane had this to say about the integration:
By connecting Microsoft Copilot with Bigtincan, our joint customers can now benefit from the exponential productivity benefits of Bigtincan’s generative SearchAI solution. The result is better content, better meetings, and better follow-ups to enhance the sales engagement experience and drive revenue.
Slack
Even if your organization isn’t using Microsoft or Teams, a ton of work is happening every day inside of your workplace chat platform. Bigtincan integrates with Slack to turn it into your centralized collaboration headquarters.
How they connect
- Search company content stored in Bigtincan within Slack using the Bigtincan search file shortcut or the slash command /btc [help, search].
- Quickly transition your chat meetings online via Bigtincan Engagement.
- Get Slack notifications when someone accesses shared files or assets in Bigtincan.
- Receive links to view Bigtincan analytics in Slack, allowing for real-time tracking of interactions.
3. Provide a seamless experience across all Apple devices
A huge part of reaching people where they’re already working is providing a seamless experience across every device they’re using to do their jobs, and for millions (maybe billions) of people, that means Apple products.
That’s why Bigtincan’s Mac app provides a native experience on Mac computers, iPads, iPhones and now Vision Pro. Modern remote and hybrid workforces — especially sellers — use any combination of these devices on a given day, so they need to be able to start and continue their work on all of them.
Say you’re a sales rep looking at a newly published presentation in Bigtincan on your iPad while starting your day in your home office. Later, you head into your work’s headquarters to edit the presentation on a Mac so it’s personalized for a customer you’re engaged with. Then you share it with the customer from your iPhone while on your way to a meeting with them.
Your document will follow you exactly as you left it across all of your Apple devices so you don’t lose progress — even if you’re offline.
How they connect
The app brings the capabilities of Bigtincan’s iOS application to macOS, supporting hybrid work environments by enabling sales professionals to transition smoothly between devices throughout their day.
Whether editing presentations on a MacBook, sharing content via iPhone, or presenting interactively on an iPad, users experience consistent performance and ease-of-use. This fluidity in device usage helps sales teams stay connected, prepared, and effective in engaging with clients and managing sales activities in any setting.
4. Centralize work inside your Sales CRM
Salesforce CRM
Sellers work in Salesforce. That’s where their accounts are, and it’s where they prefer to work. Instead of trying to displace sales teams from Salesforce, Bigtincan offers an integration that allows access to assets directly from the CRM. This ensures that sales reps can easily find and use the content they need within their primary work environment.
We designed our Salesforce integration to make sure three essential things happened for sellers:
- Sellers always know where to look for files and have access to the documents they need without leaving Salesforce.
- Sellers can easily track their activity by attaching assets they send to a Salesforce object, whether it’s a lead, opportunity, or contact.
- Sellers and sales leaders have a high degree of confidence that every opportunity is up to date and displays an accurate record of all documents that have been used or sent during the process.
When the CRM and document management systems are closely integrated, it becomes much easier to use documents and track activity more effectively. Plus, your sellers can spend more time selling and less time jumping between different tools to grab files or share links.
How they connect
- Real-time capture of document usage information through Salesforce API automatically tracks activities and tasks so your team has insight into which assets are used regularly and which ones are performing best.
- Sellers receive AI-driven content recommendations within Salesforce.
- Marketers, enablement leaders, or other content admins can customize ontologies to align content with business needs within Salesforce.
- Your sales team can easily onboard accounts and determine which documents they've sent to buyers.
Here’s more on how Bigtincan integrates with Salesforce (and solves common content management problems).
HubSpot CRM
The HubSpot integration effortlessly connects your Bigtincan actions with related HubSpot objects, which comes in handy for sales and marketing teams working in the HubSpot CRM.
Let's say you’re sharing an asset with a prospect and they're not inside of HubSpot. The integration allows HubSpot to create the contact and then add the activity of what was shared through Bigtincan.
This helps align sales and marketing a little bit better and track the ROI of their actions without them being aware of all that happening behind the scenes.
How they connect
Bigtincan’s HubSpot CRM integration, like most of the integrations on this list, connect on the backend so the frontend user experience is improved.
With this integration you can:
- Automatically look up contacts in Hubspot and log their interactions with content in their account
- Create new contacts in Hubspot when they interact with contact shared via Bigtincan for the first time
- Automatically log actions taken by Hubspot contacts, like which pieces of content they opened, to their accounts
5. Connect and consolidate all of your content
Does your company use Microsoft Office, Google, Dropbox, OneDrive, or all of the above? It’s messy, but not uncommon.
That’s why Bigtincan integrates with basically any repository you can think of and combines files from all of them within one central system.
We connect to a whole bunch of back-end file repositories (and can connect to virtually any repository via API) because we're taking files from a variety of sources and syncing them or moving them into the final state whenever they're sitting inside of Bigtincan as an enablement platform.
The goal is to merge sales and marketing to be on the same page by taking assets that marketing has created and enabling the sales team to access them.
How they connect
- Bigtincan uses deep reading, machine learning, and AI to make files easier to find while reducing the need for extensive tagging.
- All your teams can keep their existing workflows and repositories while Bigtincan centralizes and organizes your content behind the scenes.
- Content is synced, tagged, and made searchable, shareable, and trackable within Bigtincan, regardless of where it’s coming from so no sneaky, outdated, or noncompliant slips through.
6. Sync your sales conversations
Zoom
Zoom became a verb during the pandemic, and that hasn’t gone away. “Let’s meet,” became “let’s hop on a Zoom.” Using Bigtincan Engagement and Zoom together provides a reliable method to present and review your presentations and materials, while monitoring each step so you can make the best decisions based on your meeting results.
How they connect
- Zoom meeting details are synchronized with Bigtincan
- Recorded meetings are automatically transcribed and analyzed with Bigtincan’s conversation intelligence software
- Feed your call activities back into your CRM of choice
Gong
Like Zoom (and many of the tools on this list), Gong is synonymous with sales processes these days. Bigtincan’s Gong integration ensures sellers can continue to learn best practices and have their customer conversations analyzed in their go-to conversation intelligence tool.
How they connect
- Feed Gong data into Bigtincan Engagement and Readiness solutions for sales call best practices and peer learning insights.
- Display Gong insights alongside CRM and Learning data in Brainshark Scorecards for a full view of sales progress and performance.
- Conduct meetings with Bigtincan Engagement tools and use Gong to analyze the recording.
- Use clips from calls recorded using Gong in Brainshark presentations to create comprehensive sales training courses.
Salesloft
In the same way sellers are holding most if not all of their conversations in Zoom and running them through Gong, they’re conducting much of their written interactions through Salesloft. This trio of integrations ensures all your sales conversations are synced with the rest of your sales stack, making sellers’ workflow more efficient.
How they connect
- Sellers can set up cadences and outbound emails with relevant, recommended content.
- Sellers can search through all your content repositories connected to Bigtincan, extract the assets they need, and send them directly from Salesloft without leaving the application.
- Bigtincan makes searching content from Salesloft easy for sellers by scanning file names, tags, and even any text within the document based on the search terms entered.
- Content in Salesloft is organized exactly like Bigtincan, making it familiar for sellers to navigate.
- Sellers can preview files in Salesloft so they know exactly what they’re sending customers without having to open Bigtincan.
Clear the app clutter and start sparking joy
Integrating Bigtincan into your existing workflow is a powerful way to enhance productivity and streamline processes without overwhelming your team by adding yet another app to open every day. And this by no means covers all of our integrations. Wherever you’re working, we’re there, too.
