Salesforce Identity is powered by the Salesforce Platform, and is fully integrated into business processes: sales, service, and marketing to create personalized journeys.
You can enable your Salesforce org as a single sign-on (SSO) SAML identity provider to Bigtincan and external service providers. When your org acts as a SAML identity provider, your users can access multiple apps with a single login. After you enable Salesforce as an identity provider, define a service provider by setting up a SAML-enabled connected app.

With Salesforce Identity, users can log in using the familiar Salesforce experience with Salesforce acting as a single sign-on (SSO) SAML identity provider.
Bigtincan supports SAML 2.0 authentication and is able to act as a Salesforce Identity Service Provider (idP), allowing customers to leverage Salesforce Identity Single Sign-on for Enterprise authentication systems.
When users attempt to log into their Bigtincan instance, they will be automatically redirected to Salesforce’s SSO and will return to where they left off after authentication.
