Azure Active Directory

Azure Active Directory (AD) is a cloud-based identity and access management service that helps your employees access external resources, such as Microsoft 365, the Azure portal, and applications like Bigtincan. Azure AD helps users access internal resources like apps on the corporate intranet network, along with cloud apps developed for your own organization.

As an IT admin, use Azure AD to control access to your apps and your app resources, including Bigtincan, based on your business requirements. For example, you can use Azure AD to require multi-factor authentication when accessing important organizational resources such as Bigtincan.

You can also use Azure AD to automate user provisioning between your existing Windows Server AD and your cloud apps, including Bigtincan. Finally, Azure AD gives you powerful tools to automatically help protect user identities and credentials and to meet your access governance requirements.

Bigtincan supports SAML 2.0 authentication and is able to act as a Service Provider, allowing customers to leverage Azure Active Directory.

When users attempt to log into their Bigtincan instance, they will be automatically redirected to Azure Active Directory (the specified Identity Provider) and will return to where they left off after authentication.

Note:Your Azure AD account must have a premium services license to connect with Bigtincan.
